# Catfish Cloud
# Collaboration Center
Now fully supporting Revit 2021–2027 across all versions, with clear permissions, cloud sync, security and stability, making cross-discipline and cross-team project collaboration more efficient and seamless.
# Configure Server

Before using the Cloud, configure the necessary server files. This only needs to be done on first use.
# VPN

The file will be generated on your desktop, with the filename in the format 3-ADMINISTRATOR.conf. The file is valid for 30 days, consistent with the plugin. After activating the plugin, generate the VPN key first and complete the connection. After that, both native Revit features and Catfish Cloud features will work normally.
# Network Detection & Optimization

For network detection, you must first open Revit as administrator and complete network optimization, then connect to the VPN to perform detection and view results.
# Create Central File

The save path here is the network path for the Catfish Cloud central file. The system will save it as a TXT file.
Please keep this file safe — you'll need it later when creating local copies. You can also share this file with team members who need to collaborate.

Once the local copy is created, you can close the current document. From now on, use the "Create Local Copy" command to generate local files for editing.
Once the central file is created, do not perform any further operations on it.
# Create Local Copy

Locate the TXT file saved when the central file was created, and click to open it.
In the second popup window, choose and set the save path for your local file.
The software will automatically open the local copy at that path, allowing you to edit directly for convenient subsequent sync operations.
# Sync

When performing a sync, the system will automatically clear and relinquish all current element ownership and locks to ensure the local and cloud file contents are completely consistent.
